At Takeovers Rentals, we require a security deposit hold for all ATV and UTV rentals to ensure responsible usage and coverage for potential damages. By renting from us, customers agree to be financially responsible for any damage, theft, or loss incurred during their rental period.

 

1. Security Deposit Hold

 

A security deposit authorization is required for all rentals and will be placed on the customer’s credit card at check-in:

• $100 hold per ATV rental

• $500 hold per UTV rental

 

Deposit Hold Terms:

• This is a hold, not a charge, unless damages occur.

• The credit card must match the driver’s license on file.

• The hold will be released within 3-5 business days after the rental if no damages, crashes, or fllips have occurred on the vehicle. 

 

2. Agreement to Financial Responsibility

 

By signing our waiver, all customers acknowledge and agree that:

• They are fully responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of the rented ATV(s) or UTV(s), regardless of whether the deposit hold is collected.

• Takeovers Rentals reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for:

• Repairs or replacement of damaged parts

• Loss of use fees at the full daily rental rate for each day the vehicle is out of service, up to 14 days

• Additional rental or damage fees incurred under the signed rental agreement

 

3. Age Requirements & Authorized Drivers

• ATV Operators: Must be at least 16 years old with parental or legal guardian consent if under 18.

• UTV Operators: Must be at least 18 years old.

• Only the riders listed in the rental agreement may operate the ATV(s) or UTV(s).

• Passengers are only allowed on UTVs and ATVs specifically designated for multiple riders.

 

4. Payment Authorization & Charges

 

By renting an ATV or UTV from Takeovers Rentals, you authorize us to:

• Charge your credit card for any damages, repairs, or loss of use per the waiver terms.

• Process the payment using the card provided at check-in without requiring additional approvals.

 

5. Deposit Hold Release Timeline

• If no damages occur, the $100 (ATV) or $500 (UTV) hold will be released within 3-5 business days (depending on your bank’s processing time).

• If damages occur, the customer will be notified of the estimated cost before final charges are processed.
